Title Examiner Member
Title Examiner members shall be an individual, sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, limited liability company, limited liability partnership, or any other business entity that primarily and actively engages in the business of examining and/or abstracting title to real estate in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Title Examiner memberships are purchased by the primary contact of the parent company based on the number of employees in the company. Employees of the company can benefit from the membership purchased by the company.

Membership dues are not deductible as a charitable contribution for Federal Income Tax purposes, but may be partially deductible as a business expense. In accordance with IRC Sec 6033, VLTA estimates that 45% of your dues are not deductible because of VLTA’s lobbying activities on behalf of its members.
