Court Clerks' Appreciation Week

Each day, court clerks across the Commonwealth of Virginia serve as the quiet backbone of our legal and land title systems—upholding the integrity of public records, facilitating access to essential information, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the judicial process.

From May 5–9, 2025, we invite you to join the Virginia Land Title Association in celebrating Court Clerk Appreciation Week by taking a moment to recognize the exceptional service and professionalism of your local clerks.

We’ve created a set of fun, printable "Tokens of Appreciation" along with themed imagery you can use to brighten a clerk’s day—whether it’s a thoughtful note, a small gift, or a sweet treat paired with a clever pun. It doesn’t take much to make a big impact and let them know they are seen, valued, and appreciated.

These small gestures reinforce the strong, respectful relationships that help our work thrive. VLTA’s ongoing collaboration with the Virginia Court Clerks’ Association underscores the importance of mutual support and recognition in our shared mission to serve the Commonwealth with integrity.

You can access the appreciation week materials here:

Please consider delivering your "token of appreciation" in person or by mail during the week of May 5. A moment of kindness goes a long way—and your gratitude means the world to those who keep the records we rely on safe, accurate, and accessible.

Thank you for joining us in recognizing the invaluable role of Virginia’s court clerks.
