Legislative Affairs and Advocacy Committee

The overall goal of the Legislative Affairs & Advocacy Committee is to advance the mission of the Association through relationship development and legislative action while working with VLTA's lobbyist in drafting and presentation of legislation proposed by the membership. The committee is responsible for developing ongoing relationships with key partners such as the Bureau of Insurance, the Housing Commission, the Clerks of Court, and other agencies and associations. Committee members represent VLTA members' interests to legislators, regulators, and other contacts.
